Treecko is the grass-type starter for Hoenn region (Pokemon Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire.) This gecko-like pokemon is able to scale vertical walls and trees its sucker-like feet. It is calm, cool, and collected – it takes a lot to rattle up this guy.
When completed, Treecko stands approximately 4 inches tall and is about 2 inches wide. I hope you enjoy crocheting Treecko!

R3. ‘Sc 2, inc’ twice (8)
R4. Sc around (8)
F/o. Repeat all of the above a second time to make a second ‘eyebrow.’ Then, instead of F/o, proceed to join them by working onto the first eyebrow:

Fingers: Sl st to join to end of arm. Make a finger by making a puff stitch (5 loops on hook before pulling through), then sl st to the next desired position and repeat twice more to make 2 more fingers. The following video demonstrates how to make the fingers:
Feet
Using Light Green:
R1. 6 sc in MR (6)
R2. In first 3 sc, work 3 puff stitches as follows: sl st into first sc, pull yarn through until there are 7 loops on hook, then stitch to complete the puff. Repeat in the 2nd and 3rd stitch. Finally, Sc 3 to complete the round
R3. (See video below) Notice that above each puff there are 3 stitches: a sl st that was used to enter the working stitch, and 2 sc used to make the puff. We will ignore/skip over each sl st, and dec the 2 stitches together over each puff. This leaves us with 3 sc over each puff. Finally Sc 3 to complete the round (6)

Assembly of Crochet Treecko
Assemble as shown in pictures- be sure to pin limbs in place before sewing to properly adjust position.
Sew the oval stomach onto the body, and the chin to the bottom of the head such that the red color does not show any green in between the stomach and chin. Then attach the two arms to the side of the body, flanking the stomach. Attach legs to the bottom part of the body, again on either side of the stomach, and the feet to the bottom of the legs. Finally sew the two tails to the back of the body. I rolled the tips of the tail ends in and sewed in place to make it seem more curly. Finally sew the nose to the head covering the top part of the chin.
The eyes were made by cutting out and attaching coloured felt pieces.
