Santa’s Helper Wynaut

The Elves aint got nothing on Santa’s helper Wynaut. (Wait, is Delibird the Pokemon Santa? So are these Delibird’s helpers? Hmm…) Wynaut are little mischievous pranksters- but they mean no harm and just want to bring cheer and laughter to you this Christmas.

Let’s be real- this pattern is the same as my normal Wynaut pattern with some color changes and a hat. But I thought I’d write it up as a special post anyway, because Why-Naut?

Assembly of Crochet Santas Helper Wynaut

Use pins to fasten body parts before sewing them on.

Sew the star to the tip of the hat. Pin the hat and hair tuft to the top of the head and sew to attach. The ears are attached to either side of the head, approximately at R5 of the head.

Body: Sew the two feet (with open ends touching the underside of the body) to either side, and at the back between the feet: sew the tail to the underside of the body. The feet and tail are what balances Wynaut to stand up straight.

Facial details and skirt decorations were added using needle felting and unwound yarn ends/yarn fibers.
