Chikorita Amigurumi Pattern By Strings Away

- Light green and dark green yarn – 3.5 mm
- Crochet hook
- Fiber
- Fill stuffing
- Fabric marker and white fabric to draw on (for the eyes)
- Scissors
- yarn needle for assembly

MR: magic ring
Sc: single crochet
Hdc: half double crochet
Dc: double crochet
Tr: triple crochet
Inc: increase (2 sc in same stitch)
Dec: decrease (decrease 2 sc into one)
I recommend using Invisible Decrease

Using light green:
Repeat instructions for feet R1- R4.

Eyes and Mouth
Using fabric marker on white fabric draw eyes and mouth, cut out with scissors, and glue to head. Of course you could also make using felt pieces or needle felting if you prefer.
Sample eyes: (I used black instead of dark red and orange instead of pink due to marker availability)

Necklace
Sew dark green ‘dots’ around neck using yarn needle and dark green yarn.
Assembly of Crochet Chikorita
Sew the leaf to the top of the head. Attach the 4 legs to the bottom of the body and the tail to the back of the body. Add the facial features and eyes as described.
